“You are responsible, forever, for what you have tamed”
They were instantly smitten with each other having their first and second dates in just two days. Once that initial spark was lit, their relationship grew over hours on the phone and constant text messages.
Josette and Max have been inseparable for the last six years. Nowadays, they spend most of their time at home in West Hollywood sharing their love for films and television.
Max proposed on December 10, 2018 at Disneyland.
He suggested to have their caricature done as a souvenir for their trip. As the session was coming to a close, the artist called Josette over to review the final product. Little did she know that the portrait was part of a more elaborate plan that Max had in store for her. Above the portraits were two speech bubbles - one over Max asking “Will You Marry Me?” and an empty one over Josette’s for her answer. As she turned back to Max, he is already down on one knee, ring box open, reciting those exact four little words “Will You Marry Me?” Josette said “Yes!” and wrote in her answer above her portrait to finish off the caricature. Passerby’s caught a glimpse of the proposal in the making and cheered on with applause as the happy couple sealed the proposal with a kiss.
